What data do we collect?

Should you sign-up on our User Portal we will collect your email address and password.

How do we collect your data?

You provide PrivySeal with your data when you:

register online at privyseal.io;

submit support requests to privyseal.com;

email our company.
   
PrivySeal may also receive your data indirectly from Certificate Issuers that use our service to provide your with their real-time digital seals and certificates to validate their award of qualifications, licenses, membership, enrollment and other data.

How will we use your data?

PrivySeal collects your data so that we can:

provide you with digital seals and certificates on behalf of Certificate Issuers;

help you access your real-time digital seals and certificates;
help you track the number of times your real-time digital seals and certificates have been viewed.

PrivySeal will share your data with our partner companies, at your request, to enable you to embed your real-time digital seal in documents you generate using their software or service.

How do we store your data?

PrivySeal will keep your email and password indefinitely, unless you request us to terminate your account by emailing info@privyseal.com.

What are your data protection rights?

PrivySeal would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request PrivySeal for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that the relevant Certificate Issuer correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the relevant Certificate Issuer to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that PrivySeal erase your personal data.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that PrivySeal restrict the processing of your personal data.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to PrivySeal’s processing of your personal data.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that PrivySeal transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
